Our company was founded as a family-owned business in 1978. The purpose of the new business was to design, to build and to sell continuous aerating systems for the food and non-food industries. It started with five former "Euromatic" employees, who could use their own technical ideas while running this new company.

After the usual starting-up difficulties such as getting used to a new company name, the five Mondomix employees bought all the shares and continued the company under the name         “Mondomix Holland B.V.” in November 1981.
The new company moved to Nederhorst den Berg. After this new start, Mondomix Holland had 11 employees.

Although the company had changed its name again and had moved, they did very well and sold equipment in the value of several million Dutch guilders.

Since then the growth and profits of Mondomix Holland B.V. increased explosively. Good sales were a result of an active marketing structure, worldwide activities, new technical developments and a well-organized after-sales service.

In 1984, Mondomix Holland B.V. decided to buy their biggest competitor and to integrate it completely into Mondomix Holland B.V.

In July of the same year Mondomix took over "Tekoma Trading B.V.", a well-known company selling depositing machines, and integrated their technical know-how into the Mondomix product line. In the meantime the company had grown rapidly so that it was necessary to expand its building.

As many of the clients were asking for more complete delivery programs, Mondomix Holland B.V. realized that they should orientate more on the marketing, project engineering and the delivery of complete production lines.
The first project sold was a complete curd/yoghurt dessert line for a Bulgarian company in 1985. This was followed by other projects all over the world, mainly for the bakery, confectionery and dairy industries.

These developments made Mondomix the market leader – a position, which has not changed since 1989. The number of employees tripled.

In 1990, the Howden Group bought all shares. Three years later the name was changed into Mondomix Howden B.V.

In 1997, Mondofill single shot depositors were added to the product line.
In 1998, all shares were bought by MRW Technologies Ltd. The name changed back to Mondomix B.V.

In 2002, all shares were bought by Franz Haas Waffel- und Keksanlagen-Industrie GmbH. The name was changed to Haas-Mondomix B.V.

In June 2005, Haas-Mondomix moved into a spacious three-storied headquarters facility located in Almere, 30 minutes east of Amsterdam.

Haas-Mondomix BV is the world leader in continuous aeration, with 95% of our annual production exported to over 50 countries. Sales is handled at our head office in The Netherlands and via our worldwide agents’ network with support offices in Richmond (USA), Curitiba (Brazil), Shanghai (China), Osaka/Tokyo (Japan) and Moscow (Russia).

Our Technology Center has been improved and modernized, and the capacity of our Testing Laboratory will increase significantly. These changes allow us to further upgrade our already good level of customer support.  

Our experienced food technologists enable our company to develop new products and recipes, while constantly improving existing products by trials on testing equipment and by outlining production processes for these products. The engineering department of Haas-Mondomix is innovative, creative and will translate new and improved products into the best possible process solution with matching equipment.

From their support back-office, the sales group will handle all customer requests efficiently and effectively, thus guaranteeing quick response and customer satisfaction.

When you are talking about cakes, pastries, cookies, lady fingers, marshmallows, aerated chocolate, crème fillings, nougat bars, angle kisses, curd/yoghurt desserts, cream, cream cheese, pate or liver pate, Haas-Mondomix B.V. will be able to deliver an advanced aerating system, a sophisticated depositing machine or a complete hi-tech production line.

To the non-food industries, Haas-Mondomix B.V. delivers high-quality aerating systems for foam baking, textile impregnating, textile coating, imitation leather production, PVC, PU sport floors, high-quality mattresses and P.V.A. (substitution for plaster), etc.
